PRN 0690 Comprehensive Nursing and Transitional Skills for the Practical Nurse
This is a comprehensive course designed to provide the practical nursing student with comprehensive nursing skills and prepare them for transition into nursing practice. The course emphasizes theoretical concepts to the care of maternal child population concepts specific to growth and development and the care of maternal and pediatric patients. This course prepares the practical nursing student with skills for transitioning into practice related to scope of practice, delegation, licensing, professional organizations, and employability skills. This course consists of 75 clock hours.
