PRN 0290L Medical-Surgical Nursing I for the Practical Nurse Clinical

This course is designed to provide the practical nursing student intense clinical application of nursing care of the adult medical-surgical patient utilizing nursing principles. Emphasis is placed on the application of holistic nursing care for the medical-surgical client related to disease/disorders of the cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, musculoskeletal, endocrine, and integumentary systems. This course consists of 180 clock hours. (12 laboratory hours and 168 clinical hours)
