PRN 0291 Medical-Surgical Nursing II for the Practical Nurse

This comprehensive course is designed to provide the practical nursing student with the theoretical foundation to support clinical application of nursing care of the adult medical-surgical patient utilizing nursing principles. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of holistic nursing care for the medical-surgical client related to disease/disorders of the gastrointestinal, neurological, urinary, reproductive and oncologic systems. This course consists of 120 clock hours.
