PRN 0290 Medical-Surgical Nursing I for the Practical Nurse

This comprehensive course is designed to provide the practical nursing student with the theoretical foundation to support clinical application of nursing care of the adult medical-surgical patient utilizing nursing principles. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of holistic nursing care for the medical-surgical client related to disease/disorders of the cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, musculoskeletal, endocrine, and integumentary systems. This course consists of 120 clock hours.
