Nursing (RN) ADN Transition Program (LPN and Paramedic)-Associate in Science
Completed applications, including all admission requirements, must be received by the Admissions and Student Records office within the following time frame. Campus locations are assigned and determined by the Nursing department.
Paramedic Transition:
Summer admission: The application will be accepted from the third Monday in January through March 30 (West Campus - odd years only; Porter Campus - even years only). View program webpage for dates.
LPN Transition:
January admission: The application will be accepted from the second Monday in July until the second Monday in September. View program webpage for dates.
August admission: The application will be accepted from the third Monday in January until the third Monday in March. View program webpage for dates.
Note: If the application deadline falls on a day the College is closed, the application will be accepted on the next day the College is open for business.
Note: Students who fail to attend the term for which limited access admission is granted must reapply to the program. Admission requirements for the LPN/Paramedic Transition Program are under review and are subject to change. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor or visit the PHSC website for updates.
The ADN/Paramedic Transition program is offered contingent upon sufficient enrollment. Applicants to the ADN/Paramedic Transition program will be selected to begin their first course, NUR 1006 and NUR 1006L, during the summer or fall term.
