Applying to PHSC

Starting your journey at Pasco-Hernando State College begins with submitting an application for admission through our Bobcat Application Portal.  All students applying for college credit courses must:

  • Complete an admissions application.
  • Pay a non-refundable $25 general application fee.
    • High school dual enrollment students, transient students who apply through the Florida Shines website, and returning PHSC students are exempt from paying the non-refundable $25 general application fee.
  • Provide proof of Florida residency to qualify for reduced in-state tuition.
    • High school dual enrollment students do not provide proof of Florida residency.

We recommend applying as early as possible to ensure timely processing and course registration.  All applicants are encouraged to monitor their Bobcat Application Portal and email for updates and notifications about their application status.

Special Program Applicants

If you are applying to a limited access or selected access program, please be aware that there may be unique requirements and registration steps for these applications.  Students are encouraged to review the information provided on the program's webpage and reach out to the PHSC Information Center with any questions before submitting an application.
