FFP 2780 Fire Department Administration
This course is designed to prepare the entry-level administrative officer for the duties and expectations of the position as a company officer with administrative duties, a battalion officer or administrative chief. Fire department organization, budget preparation, managing resources and supervision and leadership are covered. The majority of information in this course is built around human resource management in the fire service setting. This course is part of the core group of courses that comprise the Associate in Science in Fire Science Technology degree. This course is available for online (distance) learning only. Distance learning fee required.
