FFP 1000 Introduction to Fire Science
This course will cover various aspects of fire science and related fields. The history and philosophy of fire science will be discussed along with the organization, purpose and functions of fire departments and other agencies involved in firefighting and fire prevention. This course will also survey professional fire protection career opportunities. This course is an elective for the Fire Fighter certification through the Florida State Fire College.
