Career Pathways Consortium
PHSC, the District School Board of Pasco County and the District School Board of Hernando County are consortium partners for Career Pathways, a national movement to prepare students for careers in emerging technologies. High school students enrolled in Career Pathways programs of study can benefit from the partnership through dual enrollment and articulation agreements between the College and the school district. Generally, Career Pathways students at PHSC will have completed a high school program of study leading to an Associate in Arts degree or one of the following Associate in Science degrees: Accounting Technology, Business Administration, Computer Information System Analysis, Computer Programming and Analysis, Criminal Justice Technology, Dental Hygiene, Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology, Digital Media/Multimedia Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Engineering Technology, Financial Services, Fire Science Technology, Social and Human Services, Industrial Management Technology, Information Technology Security, Internet Services Technology, Marketing Management, Network Systems Technology, Nursing, Office Administration, Paralegal or Radiography, and Unmanned Vehicle Systems Operations.
PHSC Career Pathways students may be eligible for the annually renewable Florida Vocational Gold Seal Scholarship or scholarships awarded by the consortium's Business and Industry Technical Advisory Council. Career Pathways students may enter employment immediately after graduation or complete the general education requirements for the Associate in Arts degree and transfer to a university or complete an Associate in Science degree.
