EEC 1003 Introduction to Early Childhood Education
This course is designed to provide an overview of the important elements of education and care for young children from birth through age eight. This course includes the history, types and guidelines for early childhood educational programs. Observational techniques, child growth and development, guidance and curriculum design germane to early childhood are introduced. Students will be exposed to current issues and trends in the early childhood education profession.
