ETI 2943 Practicum in Technical Industry

This course provides a mechanism for the award of articulated credit based on prior learning. Credit is awarded to students who have successfully completed an approved postsecondary technical program and/or earned industry recognized certifications aligned with their program of study. Award of credit is contingent upon verification of competencies through established articulation agreements, documentation of completed training, and/or validation of current industry knowledge. Evaluation is conducted in accordance with institutional policies and approved articulation guidelines. This course does not include traditional instructional activities, contact hours, or regular class meetings. It is used solely for the transcription of validated prior learning toward an Associate in Science degree at Pasco-Hernando State College. The specific number of credits articulated through ETI 2943 is dependent upon the total number of documented clock hours in the completed technical program, up to a maximum of 21 credits.
