EMS 2624 Paramedics III
This course is the final didactic course in a series of advanced theory courses required by the National EMS Education Standards. Topics include, but are not limited to, Transport Operations, MCI/Incident Command, Vehicle Extrication and Special Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Terrorism Response, Disaster Response, Crime Scene Awareness, and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification course. A final comprehensive written examination must be passed with an 80% or higher score to pass the course.
