REA 0011 Modularized Developmental Reading
This modularized developmental reading course is designed to increase a student's ability to comprehend college-level, written material. This course develops proficiency in specific, targeted reading skills and strategies primarily through a technology based, self-paced delivery model offering a personalized learning experience. A diagnostic exam given in the first week will be used to allow students to focus on only those skills for which they have not yet demonstrated mastery. Students must pass the class with a "C" or better and complete a comprehensive end of course exam. Four (4) compensatory credits will be earned. This course does not apply toward a degree.
Prerequisite
Appropriate placement test score.
