  • Relationships
  • Sharpening Study Skills
  • Substance Abuse
  • Time Management

Students call the toll-free confidential hotline, which is answered 24/7 by BayCare mental health professionals. After giving a brief description of their concerns, students are given contact information for counselors in their area or referrals to community resources. BayCare Anywhere Telehealth Counseling is also available. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or a computer with a webcam.

Who pays for these visits?

The College has partnered with BayCare to provide students with confidential counseling at no charge. If additional services are needed, the counselor will coordinate with the student's insurance provider or may offer a sliding fee scale for uninsured students.

No, utilizing the SAP is confidential and voluntary. The only exception is when a student is mandated to see counseling because the College believes the student may be a dancer to him or herself or the College community.

For questions regarding the Student Assistance Program, please contact the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management on any campus.
