STA 2023 Introduction to Statistics
A study of fundamental statistical methods including the basic concepts of probability, describing data using charts, graphs and numerical measures, sampling techniques, the basic statistical distributions, confidence interval estimates, hypothesis testing, linear correlation and regression, and non-parametric statistics. This course must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher if used to satisfy General Education course degree and/or certificate requirements. 45 class hours.

MGF 1106,
MGF 1107, or
MTG 2206 completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
