SLS 1106 Journey to Success

This course emphasizes study in four specific areas of college readiness: problem solving, intellectual openness, time management, and persistence. The purpose of this course is to help students develop the attitudes and skills necessary to be successful in college.

Prerequisite

This course is designed for part-time or full-time students who are attending PHSC for the first time (FTIC), have earned 6 or fewer credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education, and are enrolled in coursework that leads to an Associate in Arts degree. Students will take this course during their first semester at PHSC and therefore, there are no mandatory pre- or co-requisites.
