RTE 1513 Radiographic Procedures II

This course will cover the spine, sacrum, coccyx, SI joints, gastrointestinal track, and the urinary system. Students will gain experience in positioning skills, technical factor selection, radiation protection and pathology. Student will learn proper patient positioning including  procedural considerations and proper use of contrast agents. Students will gain knowledge of correct source image distance, central ray location, and tube angles need to produce an acceptable image.  Students will also be identifying radiographic pathology.
