RTE 1503 Radiographic Procedures I

This course will cover the chest, abdomen, upper extremities, and lower extremities. Students will gain experience in positioning skills, technical factor selection, radiation, protection and pathology. Student will learn basic terms used in radiology as well as proper patient positioning including procedural considerations. Students will gain knowledge of correct source image distance, central ray location, and tube angles need to produce an acceptable image. Students will also be identifying radiographic pathology.
