NUR 2403L Maternal-Child Nursing Clinical/ADN Transition

This course emphasizes clinical application of the nursing process as an approach in assisting women, children and families in meeting their basic needs in a variety of settings. The roles of the nurse as a provider of care, communicator, teacher, manager and member of the profession provide the framework for clinical application and evaluation. This course consists of 30 lab hours and 90 clinical hours. Additional laboratory hours may be required.
