ETM 2401 Mechanical Devices and Systems
This course covers the fundamental application and components involved in Factory 4.0. The fundamental components include mechanical devices and measurement devices located in an industrial or manufacturing environment. The course emphasizes the use and application of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and computer software required for programming and controlling automated machinery, mechanical devices, and robots. Automated systems within industry and manufacturing involved in the use of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical components.
Prerequisite
ETS 1542 completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
