CNT 1000 Introduction to Networking

This is an introductory networking course. This course will cover basic local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) concepts. Topics include LAN and WAN technologies, common networking components, topologies, terms, acronyms, protocols, standards, hardware and software, overview of design, and OSI and TCP/IP models. This course will prepare students for the CompTIA Network+ Industry Certification Exam. Lab fee required.
