PHY 1020C Fundamentals of Physics

This course offers a comprehensive survey of physics, covering a wide range of topics including motion, Newton’s laws, energy, sound, heat, electricity, magnetism, and optics. Emphasizing a conceptual understanding of physics, the course integrates critical thinking skills and real-world applications. A grade of “C” or higher must be attained.

Prerequisite

REA0017 or REA0011 or REA0019 (completed with a grade of "C" or higher) and MAT 1033 (completed with a grade of "C" or higher) or appropriate placement test score. Students who are not required to take the common placement test or enroll in developmental education courses do not have to satisfy prerequisites.
