College Store Refunds
Textbook/Course Materials
The PHSC College Store will issue textbook/eBook returns for a refund during the drop/add period at the start of each semester, and throughout the following week. In order to be eligible for a refund, physical textbooks must be free from damage, and any included digital access codes/eBooks must be unscratched and unused. Once an access code is scratched and registered, a textbook bundle is no longer eligible for a refund.
Digital Course Materials
For individually purchased digital access cards/eBook access codes, refunds can only be issued if the code is unused and unregistered. If an access code is registered, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
As part of the return process, the original receipt will need to be presented to the PHSC College Store. If a student has an outstanding balance owed to PHSC, any applicable refund for books or supplies will be applied to this balance first.
If a student participating in the Bobcat Instant Access program drops a course before the opt out deadline, they will automatically be opted out of the program and will not be charged. If they drop the course after the deadline, they will be refunded (to your student account) for the cost of the materials.
General Merchandise
For general merchandise purchases made in the PHSC College Stores, a refund can be issued up to 14 days after the purchase date noted on the original receipt. Any packaging must be included with the item in order to be eligible for a refund. Clothing must be free from wear and include the original tags in order to be refunded/exchanged. General merchandise purchases that are returned must be in re-salable condition.
Food and beverage items are unable to be refunded once they are opened or once they leave the premise of the PHSC College Store where they are purchased.
