TPP 2190 Theatre Rehearsal and Performance

This course is a practical study in production performance. All students enrolled in this course are required to participate in the audition/interview process for the approved productions in the semester of enrollment. Assignments are made based on auditions/interviews and production requirements. Activities may include acting, directing, stage management, publicity, and various operational activities of the performance production crews. If a student is cast in the production the student must accept the role. Normally, work on an assignment continues throughout the rehearsal and performance period through the strike of the production. There is no stipulation of hours, the time requirement varies depending on the role or assignment but always until the production is completed and struck. Being absent without prior permission from one rehearsal/call may constitute automatic removal from the assigned role or activity and failure of the course. This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher. This course may be repeated twice for credit.
