LIS 2004 Introduction to Internet Research
The course focuses on information resources available through the Internet. Internet search tools and methods of access are explored, along with social, ethical and legal issues. Students should have a full service Internet account, including e-mail or have access through a corporate or educational institution. Students should have a basic familiarity with a PC operating system, Web browser, and e-mail.
