EEC 1407 Facilitating Social Development
This course focuses on the social development and behavior of the young child. A child-centered philosophy utilizing positive guidance skills is presented with opportunities for practice and implementation. Further emphasis is placed on types of communication, limit setting, and classroom management, along with an investigation of play, self-esteem, stress and prosocial skills among other topics.
