CJE 2950 Crime Scene Capstone
The Crime Scene Capstone is required for all Crime Scene / Forensic Science Technology students and is to be taken in the student’s graduation semester. During the capstone students will work a crime scene from start to finish. Students will document the crime scene, process, and collect evidence from the crime scene. Students will then testify in a mock courtroom.
Students will also participate in mock panel interviews to prepare them for the hiring process.
The Crime Scene Capstone experience provides the students with the opportunity to experience real-world scenarios while integrating all the material they have learned. The capstone will build the student’s confidence and professionalism as they prepare to enter a career in forensic science.
