Admission to Technical Credit Certificate (Clock Hour) Programs
Technical Credit Certificate programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs or to supplement education and training in a chosen occupational field. Students must indicate their intent to enter the specified certificate program on their PHSC Application for Admission or on a Program Declaration form signed by the appropriate advisement staff and submitted to the Admissions and Student Records office. PHSC offers these Technical Credit Certificate programs:

- Law Enforcement Officer
- Medical Administrative Specialist
- Nursing Assistant
- Phlebotomy
- Practical Nursing
- Surgical Technology
Dental Assisting and Practical Nursing are limited access/selected admissions health programs; admission requirements for these programs are listed in the section General Admission Requirements for Limited Access/Selected Admissions Health Programs. Some of the Public Services programs also are limited access.
