PRN 0205 Medical Surgical Nursing II

This course is designed to provide the practical nursing student with the theoretical foundation to support clinical application of nursing care of the adult medical-surgical client utilizing nursing principles. Emphasis is on organized client care functions, employability skills and professional issues. Nursing principles are emphasized. Concepts specific to the care of clients with disease/disorders of the immune, cardiovascular, reproductive, musculoskeletal, integumentary, digestive and the urinary systems are included. 75 clock hours.
