FFP 2770 Ethical and Legal Issues

This course involves a legal view of issues confronting fire service leaders and addresses ethical decision making and self-evaluation based on personal and organizational values. Federal, state and local laws and their impacts on the fire service will be discussed as well as processes for developing ethical standards for an organization. This course is part of the core group of courses that comprise the Associate of Science in Fire Science Technology degree. This course is available for online (distance) learning only. Distance learning fee required.
