EPI 0030 Diversity in the Classroom
This course explores issues of diversity, including an understanding of the influence of exceptionalities culture, family, gender, sexual orientation, socioenconomic status, religion, language of origin, and ethnicity upon the educational experience. The participant will gain a broader view of the aspects of diversity and reevaluate the role of personal beliefs and prejudices in the learning process. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained.
