Any student graduating with an Associate in Arts, or an Associate in Science, or a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above in all college credit courses applicable toward a degree, include transfer credit hours, shall be graduated with honors, and receive one of the following three honors categories:
- Cum Laude - students with a cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) between 3.50 - 3.74.
- Magna Cum Laude - students with a cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) between 3.75 - 3.99.
- Summa Cum Laude - students with a cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) of 4.00.
The determination of the three honors categories (Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Summa Cum Laude) for the commencement ceremony is based on the cumulative grade-point-average at the end of the student's last semester of enrollment prior to the semester of graduation.
