Automation―Certificate

The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment in engineering support positions. This program focuses on broad, transferrable skills and stresses the understanding and demonstration of the following elements of engineering technology and industrial applications: PLCs, automation, and control systems in high tech production, manufacturing, distribution, and engineering research and development facilities. Students will gain relevant technical knowledge, technical skill proficiency, and preparation for further education and careers in the manufacturing career cluster.

The 12 credits in this certificate program can apply toward the 60 credit hour Associate in Science degree in Engineering Technology.
