NUR 3119 Nursing Theoretical Concepts

This course addresses foundations of nursing theory as it applies to clinical decision making. A comparison of prominent nursing theorists will provide a framework for conceptual analysis of the metaparadigm of nursing. Incorporation of theoretical frameworks applied to clinical practice settings will provide the RN to BSN student with opportunities for enhanced interdisciplinary communication to improve patient outcomes.
