NUR 1211 Adult Nursing I/Generic Program

This course emphasizes use of the nursing process as an approach in assisting ill adults and their families to meet their basic needs.  Emphasis is placed on the more commonly occurring health needs of clients in various settings. The roles of the nurse as provider of care, communicator, teacher, manager, and member of a profession are expanded and provide the framework for clinical application and evaluation. This course consists of 67.5 theory hours.
