DEH 2804L Dental Hygiene IV Clinical

This course provides an ongoing and expanded clinical experience including proficiency in oral prophylaxis, radiographic techniques, expanded functions, root planing, dietary analysis and pharmacologic agents. The care of patients with special dental needs is addressed. Student achievement in this course is graded according to the scale outlined in the grading section of the syllabus. Lab fee required. 247.5 clinical and laboratory hours.
