Continuing Education
PHSC provides Continuing Education noncredit courses to meet the career, personal enrichment, and lifelong needs of the community. A variety of courses are offered on all campuses, online, and other locations in Pasco and Hernando counties. Continuing Education also provides customized training courses for business, industry, and government designed to meet their specific workplace need.
A Summer Career Camp Program is offered to middle-school age children that provide a stimulating, interactive, and fun learning environment while exploring popular career programs offered at PHSC. For more information, call 727-816-3256 or email.
Records of the courses are maintained by the College. Fees are charged in accordance with the fee structure established by the District Board of Trustees.
Encore Academy
PHSC believes students of any age should have access to higher education and promotes the concept of lifelong learning. Encore Academy focuses on serving adults age 50 and older. Adults of all ages may take the courses, but special membership options are available for individuals 50 and older. Most workshops are only $12 for two hours. Memberships offer lifelong learning opportunities and/or participation in most academic areas, including college credit and technical credit programs, noncredit courses and other select activities.
Membership enrollment in up to 8 hours of select Encore Academy workshops is only $40 per term.
Individuals interested in credit class options can become a member for $125 per academic term. There are many benefits to these membership levels, including:
- Enrollment in any three-credit, college-credit or technical-credit-hour class per academic term, on a space available basis, excluding lab or special fees
- Enrollment in up to 8 hours of Encore Academy workshops per academic term
- Reduced fees when enrolling in additional workshops
- Discount on Performing Arts show tickets
- PHSC student ID card
- Library privileges for credit seeking students

Lifelong Learning Courses
These courses are designed to improve competencies in areas other than career/work or to enhance an individual's quality of life.
Fees shall be charged for lifelong learning courses in accordance with the fee structure established by the District Board of Trustees.
